Maria L. Avesian has been practicing law in Southeastern Michigan for over 20 years. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from The Detroit College of Law, now known as the Michigan State University College of Law. Maria completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Maria has concentrated her practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate Administration, and Small Business set-up and administration. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Probate and Estate Planning section of the Bar.

Maria stays current to changes in the law affecting her practice by attending legal seminars thru the Michigan Institute for Continuing Legal Education. She is committed to listening to her client’s wishes and to communicating in an open and easy to understand way.

Maria is a resident of Shelby Township. In her community she has been an active volunteer in the Utica Community Schools. She has coordinated and assisted in numerous activities and events which have enhanced the educational experience of the students.
